Parenting Support – Family Advisor Model – OCN Level 2
Partnership working with families is key to this course, which is based on proven research and models from the Centre of Parent and Child support.
Designed for Teachers, SENCO’s, Health and Charity Workers and others working with parents, this course comes to the workplace. Over 30 hours, this course develops active listening skills and explores how to work collaboratively with parents, looking at models of effective problem management, handling sensitive issues and partnership working. Assessment is evidence based, incorporating the compilation of a portfolio of work demonstrating successful parenting support.
