Just for Dad’s:

A Guide to Understanding Behaviours of Children with Additional Needs

A two hour workshop ‘Just for Dads’ Free places funded by DSPL9

Our popular, tried and tested parenting ‘lite-bite’ is facilitated by Francine and Lesley who are experienced and qualified trainers, one of whom has a son with Autism and Challenging Behaviour.

If you would like to:

  • Gain understanding of challenging behaviours
  • Learn tried and tested communication techniques to reduce challenging behaviours
  • Meet other dads who parent children with additional needs and/or disability
  • Explore the challenges and stresses of parenting children with additional needs

“I was nervous about coming on a parenting course, especially as a man I thought I’d be the only one!  Francine and Lesley made me feel welcome and it was great to meet other dads and talk about what it’s really like to be a father of a child with autism.  I also come away with a clearer understanding of my son’s behaviours and some great tips too!”
